Sketch Challenge #3

I have a couple of friends that opened a new challenge blog.  I am stumped on the color part of the challenge for now but I did the sketch part this morning.  To see the sketch you can go here:

Kerry Urbatch draws the sketches herself.  She does a fabulous job.  I used Fun Stampers Journey Whip Cream, Huckleberry Fusion, and Beach Breeze cardstocks.  I used Huckleberry Fusion and Hazelnut Blend inks from Fun Stampers Journey.  The stamps from Fun Stampers Journey came from the Stamp Sets Sea Side Treasures, SS-0071; Nautical View, SS-0060; and Happy Sails, SS-0045.  Happy Sails and Nautical View are both on the retired list so if you like them then you need to take advantage of our retired sale and order them now before we run out of stamps because once they are gone there won’t be anymore!  The ribbon was just some that I had in my stash and I thought that it had a kind of wave appearance.  If you would like to purchase anything that I used on my card then you can contact me or go here:  That’s it for now.  Thanks for visiting.

Dad’s Birthday Card

This week’s challenge was to do a winter scene.  Thanks to Sam Fischer teaching me on Saturday how to use my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to make this type of background I put her technique and my new technique of making reverse images to use to come up with this card.  My Dad will be 80 December 17th and my husband and I knew that he would like this card so I threw on “Happy Birthday” and I will give it to him.  Here is the list of what I used to make this card:

Cardstock:  Whip Cream, Fresh Forest, Oatmeal Cookie

Stamp Sets:  Winter Wonderland, SS-0093     Greet & Shout, SS-0043

Tim Holtz Distress Inks:  Broken China, Old Paper, Pine Needles, Vintage Photo

Ink:  Hazelnut Blend, IP-0012

Journey Glaze, AD-0002

Journey Sparkle Dust, AC-0013

I also used the new tape runner and the new large foam squares.  I am loving all of the new Journey products that we have.  If you would like to order any of our products please go here:

This month you get a free 12 x 12 package of Christmas paper for every $50 you spend.  Sweet deal, right!?

Masculine ATC

Today’s Coach’s challenge was to make a masculine ATC.  I used an ATC, some of the background paper I had in my stash, FSJ’s  Whip Cream cardstock, FSJ’s Imagine stamp, FSJ’s Summer Days, Hazelnut Blend, and Lemon Grass inks, and then some bling that I had in my stash.  Easy peasy!  I had an ATC for a man.  You can go here to order these FSJ items:  I would be happy to help you order these items, any other items, or sign up to become a Coach.  Remember that Fun Stampers Journey Inks are unique because they blend the benefits of dye and pigment inks into one!  I hope to see you again very soon.
