Welcome to today’s Growing In Unity Blog Hop.  I have the honor of going first.  I am going to show you an oldy but goody.  I am going to show you a card using Unity’s I Miss Your Face.  You can buy the stamp by clicking on the link.  Here is my card:

I used Fun Stamper’s Journey’s new Turbo Teal and Outrageous Pink papers that are being released at the Be Amazing Tours.  The papers have matching inks, splashes, and silks.  They will be available to buy starting July 1st.  The background stamp is also from Fun Stamper’s Journey and is called “Thread Sketch”, #SS-0169.  I wanted to talk about the Unity Stamp “I Miss Your Face”.  I love this stamp.  It actually looks like this:

so it has 3 different dress forms.  This is a special weekend.  I was thinking about that after I made the card and I thought that I should have made a tag and used the colors red, white, and blue.  I think that this would be a great stamp to use for a female that is in the service.  Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Now it is time to go visit the next blog.  Be sure to visit every blog and comment for a chance to win.  Here is the lineup again:

Birthday Card

My oldest granddaughter turns 8 on August 26th.  We are going to celebrate her birthday on Saturday because the Saturday before her birthday is the Saturday before school.  She is the apple of my eye.  She is the first grandchild that I actually got to spend some time with.  She reminds me of myself as well.  She loves the outdoors and she loves animals.  This card is from the KOTM, (kit of the month).  If you look on the right it is the card on the top.  My granddaughter loves to ride her bicycle.  I think that she will love this card as much as any child loves cards!  She actually has done some coloring of digital stamps with me.  This was really fun to make.  You get all of the papers in the kit and the stamps.  You will need to buy the inks and this particular card needed a yellow colored pencil to color in the bicycle.  If you don’t want to join the KOTM then they are available as a single at a later date.  I hope that you have enjoyed this card.  Thanks for dropping by today and please come back and visit again.  See you again soon.

Masculine ATC

Today’s Coach’s challenge was to make a masculine ATC.  I used an ATC, some of the background paper I had in my stash, FSJ’s  Whip Cream cardstock, FSJ’s Imagine stamp, FSJ’s Summer Days, Hazelnut Blend, and Lemon Grass inks, and then some bling that I had in my stash.  Easy peasy!  I had an ATC for a man.  You can go here to order these FSJ items:  I would be happy to help you order these items, any other items, or sign up to become a Coach.  Remember that Fun Stampers Journey Inks are unique because they blend the benefits of dye and pigment inks into one!  I hope to see you again very soon.
